I am a regular guy who happens to be a pastor. I started in ministry in 1980 and am still going. I have been to the Taj Mahal and have seen the Amazon but have never seen the Grand Canyon. I think I will someday. I love my family and married my best friend in 1989. My kids came along after that and I am now the parent of teens. I LOVE IT!

Off post comment. Thanks for your words in response to Barry Taylor's post on Out of Ur.
He may be on to something with the notion of a broad view of the term 'spirituality', but this cannot incorporate Christian spirituality. I propose that Christian spirituality is living spirituality, while the broad umbrella spiritualities, possibly fitting a contemporary defintion, are nevertheless dying spiritualities.
